  Bette and Gene

Bette was born in Akron, Ohio (deceased) had 4 children Penny John, David and Larry while married to Larry Snow (deceased). Bette also adopted 6 children Lisa, Virginia, Elizabeth, Mike, Jack and Bill while she was married to Jack Edwards (deceased) In 1990 she married Gene. On January 5, 1998 she received a liver transplant at UCLA Medical Center. Being the old oldest person to receive such a transplant and still hold that honor. 

Gene born in San Francisco, California. Served in US Naval Air Corps WWII, Ensign to Lt.Cmdr. received the Distingished Flying Cross. BSEE Utah State University, Logan Utah, Graduate studies at Harvard and MIT. Had 2 boys, Lyle and Ted while married to Mary Ella Vineyard (deceased).  Was married to Marge Brown (deceased) and received a wonderful stepson Jim. Gene worked after WWII as an engineer at Collins Radio Company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Los Alamos Sceintific Laboratory, New Mexico, before forming his own company with offices in Albuquerque, Denver, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City, serving as a Techincial Engineering Representative in the Rocky Mountain States for such companies as Hewlett Packard, Tektronix, Varian, Fluke and others. Married Bette Edwards August 18, 1990 and this time hitting the Jack Pot receiving 10 more great stepchildren. Now retired enjoying the casual life of the Palm Springs area .

Rancho Casa Blanca

Rancho Casa Blanca Country Club and Resort is a senior's only community with 801 homes and it's 18 hole golf course, tennis courts and 2 main and 7 satilite club houses with swiming pools, spas and fitness room etc. 

This is my year round home where winters are wonderful in the 70's and 80's and our summers are quite warm in the 90's to 110 degrees. However everythng is air conditioned, cars, homes, super markets, movies, malls, resturants, you name it.
